First day of school

Yesterday was a great day. I was laying in bed having a wonderful dream when some voice woke me up. It was the radio on my alarm clock. I groaned, reached over and pushed the "snooze" button. I sat there laying in bed then suddenly remembered that today was my first day of school. I wasn't sure if I sould be excited or disappointded, but I knew I wanted to go to sleep. Then suddenly I thought that if I waited any longer my brother would get in the shower and take FOREVER to get ready. So I hopped out of bed, picked out some clothes, and went to the shower.

After I was done getting ready I heard my brother say, "You took forever in the bathroom. Some other people need to get ready you know."
I do admit I took awile. It was like 15 min. before I was ready!

I went to clean my room get my books together and I went downsairs to eat breakfast. I got downstairs and my mom said, " Would you like me to make you some eggs?" I said yes and started to unload the dishwasher.

A couple min. my next door neighbor Hannah came over. (we are taking the same class so we are carpooling) I was almost done when I heard somebody say, "Megan come and eat your eggs, we have to leave in less than 5 min!" It was my mom. I likes to leave on time. I ate my eggs and we got in the car and we were off!

First my brother has camp for his school so we had to drop him off at Trees 'n' Trends. Then we had like 40 min. before my class started so we were depating what we sould do in that time. My mom was going to go to starbucks but the drive through was to long so we just drove over to the little church that my school meets at.

We got there and we had 20 min. left until our class started. So what did we do? Well we started Learning Newtens 2nd Law of motion. (boring, I know) After trying and having no success, we started playing with my sister and laughing. Hannah and I both turned around and saw a couple people going into their class. A boy was walking up and she said, "Hey! That kid looks farmiliar." I looked and what do you know! IT was my good friend Dancing Writer brother! I looked over and saw her mom in the car. I said, "Yeah, that's Dancing Writer's brother."
"Oh, yeah. I remember him."

There was only 5 more min. left. My sister started saying she had to use the restroom so my mom took her in and said we should come in and wait for our class to start. We got inside and I looked around the room and saw alot of people I'd seen before.

A couple min. later we went into class. We have a really nice teacher. We learned about gravity. =^( Boring stuff. We did an experiment, and she gave us our homework sheet and then we had to leave.

It was a pretty boring day besides that. Hannah came over and we finished a Nancy Drew game, and just hung out. Pretty boring right?

Well thats all for right now. I'll try to post some more.

What I've been up to...

Well were do I start?

Well for the 4th of July we really didn't do much. We just had one of our friends come over for dinner and then we lit off fireworks. My whole family had fun.

Then July 5th we went on vacation to the old dairy state WI. My whole family and I stayed up there for 10 days and spent time with our family. Everyone came home but me and I went to visit my friends in IL. We had lots of fun. We went to the children's museum, they had some friends over and we watched some movies. After staying there for a week my two friends and I came home together and they stayed here for 5 days. We had fun just hanging out and playing games wile they were here. It was sad to say goodbye to them when they left. I was really sad and after that there was nothing to do.

Now I'm just siting at home reading and playing video games with my brother and playing with my friend that lives next door. Its nothing to thrilling. Thats all I've really been up too.....

Ballet Recital

This is my class and I. (from the left to the right) Their names are: Margaret,Stasia, Me, Maggie, and Merideth.

On June 2nd and 3rd I had my ballet recital! It was amazing! I had so much fun! My dance with my class was called " The Awakening". It was surposed to be a prayer for the Hurricane Katrina victims. My whole class and I had a fun time. I was a little nervous though. Here are a couple Pictures of me at my recital.

What is the meaning of my blog name?

Well I've always loved China since I was 3 years old. I've always been interested in Chinese culture and their way of life. Sometime in 03 I started to want a little sister. So I started praying and asking my dad if we could adopt. So in November of 03 my dad finaly agread to adopt from China! I was so excited. So in September 04 we got our refferal picture and infromation about our little sister. In November 04 our whole family got to traval to China! It was a amazing experiance! Ever since I've loved China!
